My Story

¡Hola! Are you looking for being a more confident, competent and fluent Spanish speaker? I can help you!

My name is Paola, I am from Guayaquil second biggest city of Ecuador, I lived there for almost 30 years. Then, I moved to Puerto López, a beautiful town in the Ecuadorian Coast. I am the founder and director of a non- profit organization called Clara Luna.

In 2011, I hold an ELE certification Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from IE International del español, Quito, Ecuador. I have taught students from the United States, United Kingdom, and European countries, and this have been a great opportunity to innovate lessons planning and gain experience and knowledge in order to design lessons based on students’ learning styles.

The Method

My pedagogical model is based on the communicative approach, which tries to prepare the student for real-life communications with others Spanish-speakers. With this objective in mind, during the classes I often share documents, images, videos and audios.

To reinforce the course’s content through extra pedagogical materials and homework.
